Disabled Alcornites Look Towards Assessable Friendly Buildings

All over campus, signs for handicapped parking and doorways into buildings can be found. However, those spaces are filled with cars bearing no handicapped tags and once a building on campus is entered, the handicapped accessibility ends in the lobby. Most buildings on campus don't have elevators and those that do have elevators don't always have working elevators.

On March 19, actress and comedienne Sheryl Underwood presented a seminar in the Student Union Ballroom. With her signature purse set aside on a chair, Underwood made it clear that she was all about business, not at Alcorn just to tell jokes.
Instead, Underwood was there to tell her story and speak about the importance of self-esteem, education and exercising the right to vote.

Fired head basketball coach Samuel West was well- liked, but after years if losing many agreed it was time for a change.
Hey Guys!

The spring semester is almost to an end. It is time to say our goodbyes and farewells. This year was my first year as Editor-in-Chief, and I have learned so much. I have learned that people want to see themselves and their friends' smiling faces and news that the Alcorn student can relate to.
